All vitamins and minerals are now also available in tablet form as dietary supplements, but what do they actually do and who are they suitable for?
In this blog post we would like to shed some light and explain which products we offer for supplementation.
vitamins
Vitamins are organic compounds that an organism does not need as an energy source, but for other vital functions, which the metabolism cannot synthesize to meet its needs. Vitamins must be ingested with food, they are among the essential substances. Even with a balanced diet, it can happen that some vitamins are not sufficiently supplied and it can therefore make sense to supplement them.
Vitamin C
Vitamin D / K2
Vitamin D has many different important functions in our body, for example it is responsible for the correct functioning of the nervous system and the formation of hormones, but it is also crucial for bone health. For this reason, the possible symptoms of a deficiency are also very diverse and can range from sleep disorders to general pessimism to a tendency to fracture bones. For this reason, it is very important to ensure an adequate supply of vitamin D.
Vitamin D3, the most important form of vitamin D in humans, is found in oily fish, cod liver oil, but also in avocados and mushrooms. The body can also synthesize vitamin D itself with the help of UV-B radiation. Due to the increasingly low-fish diet, a vitamin D deficiency is very common. Also, in our latitudes, the existing UV-B radiation is usually not sufficient, especially not in winter, to be able to produce enough vitamin D yourself. For this reason, supplementation is recommended here to prevent a deficiency.
Vitamin D increases the absorption of calcium, which could lead to undesirable side effects due to the increased calcium level. To prevent this, the simultaneous intake of vitamin K2, which ensures the correct utilization of calcium, is recommended.
Multi One Capsule
The Multi One capsules as an absolute all-rounder.
With a wide range of vitamins and minerals, the Multi One capsule covers a large part of the required micronutrients.
They are a good option to be on the safe side, one capsule a day covers most of the vitamins and minerals you need and you no longer have to worry about deficiencies.
Minerals
Minerals are vital inorganic nutrients that the organism cannot produce itself. Therefore, they must be fed to him with his food. The substances mentioned here exclusively concern the human or animal organism. Plants, fungi and bacteria sometimes need other minerals.
Magnesium
Magnesium fulfills a variety of functions in the human organism. It plays a central role in the energy metabolism for the activation of numerous enzymes. It is also involved in the transmission of stimuli from nerves to muscles and in muscle contraction. Therefore, a magnesium deficiency can also lead to muscle cramps. If there is a deficiency, the information transmission of the nerves no longer works properly and incorrect information can be sent to the muscles.
MSM (Organic Sulfur)
Sulphur is an important mineral. It is abundant in the human body and is required for many endogenous processes. It is therefore important that sulfur is supplied to the organism through food. Unfortunately, this is not always possible to a sufficient extent and so some people suffer from a sulfur deficiency.
